About Me

I first discovered my love of pottery during my second semester at Wells College in 2011.  The first time I sat behind the wheel, I threw a small bowl and was completely hooked.  Over the next 3 years, I'd spend almost every evening in the ceramic studio. After graduation in 2014, my generous and supportive parents let me set up my first home studio in their basement in Syracuse, NY. As my business grew, I began to slowly take over other part’s of my parent’s home with pottery stuff - by 2020 it was time to venture out on my own and I moved to Rochester, NY where I rented studio space downtown. My downtown studio gave me all the space I needed to continue learning and growing in my craft, as well as teach beginner classes. In 2022, I married the love of my life and we moved to Alfred Station, NY. My new home studio is nestled up in the woods overlooking the pond and all sorts of wildlife!
